48 Wall Street is a landmark 32 story high office building constructed in 1928 and contains historical engraved marble stone units. The building façade is comprised of a granite base on a brick backup wall at base of building, with ornamental limestone panels, and brick backup walls above the granite base set on a steel frame and concrete slab construction. There are ornamental limestone entablatures on the 4th and 5th floors. The southwest and southeast corner of the parapets on the 17th floor roofs contains ornamental limestone urns. The southwest, southeast and northwest corners of the main roof contain ornamental cast iron urns. The top of the building is capped with an ornamental copper steeple roof with a copper eagle ornament

Diaz Architect & Associates, P.C. performed the FISP Investigation and Report and provided the design for the following scope of work:

  • Spalled and cracked limestone
  • Deteriorated limestone patches
  • Cracked brick corner
  • Deteriorated Steel Lintels
  • Spalled and cracked brick
  • Spalled and cracked stucco
  • Deteriorated limestone joints
  • Remove loose limestone, and patch and pin limestone spall
  • Provide code compliant guardrail heights
